When picking destinations for our Europe prewedding trip, Venice was a no-brainer. We had the best time of our life when we visited Venice for the first time together 5 years ago, and needless to say, its beauty blew our mind.
It’s an understatement to say that we just like Venice. We loved it so much that we considered having our wedding there. In the end, we had to give up the thought due to the logistical nightmare of our guests and vendor commuting through the bridges and water. However, the trouble didn’t stop us from loving this mysterious little land on water.
One thing that we wish we didn’t have to encounter was… getting our 4 pieces of luggage up and down the stairs to our hotel. You really do need a muscle guy on the team for this.
We’ve also learned that the fastest way to steam a dress was to turn on the hot water for 30 minutes. (perks of working with limitations)
Like we mentioned earlier, fighting with the cold has been a theme throughout our 30-day journey. Little did we know that it would eventually snow..in Venice! Thankfully it was dry the day we dragged Mr.Tri tri out and we (mostly me) shivered in my (not very warm) jacket throughout the session as usual.
Jun was so cold that he decided to get gelato in the end.
